Male Scoring Overview (Active Duty & Guard/Reserve)
Minimum passing requirements vs. maximum point targets. Note that meeting the minimum in every component does NOT guarantee a passing composite score (75+).
| Age Group | 1.5 Mile Run (Min/Max) | Push-ups (Min/Max) | Sit-ups (Min/Max) |
|---|---|---|---|
| < 25 | 13:36 / 9:12 | 30 / 67 | 39 / 58 |
| 25-29 | 14:00 / 9:34 | 29 / 65 | 38 / 57 |
| 30-34 | 14:25 / 9:58 | 28 / 63 | 37 / 56 |
| 35-39 | 14:52 / 10:24 | 27 / 62 | 36 / 54 |
| 40-44 | 15:22 / 10:51 | 26 / 61 | 35 / 53 |
Important Considerations
- Minimums are Mandatory: You must meet the minimum standard for your age group in each component to pass, regardless of your total score.
- Target > 75 Points: The sum of your component points must equal 75 or higher. Simply achieving the minimums often results in a failing score (approx. 70-72 points).
- Exemptions: If you are exempt from a component, your score is calculated based on the remaining components.
